PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A LIVE ONLINE-ONLY AUCTION.
All bidding will take place either online (via the-saleroom.com or bid.keysauctions.co.uk), or by telephone/absentee bid.
PREMIUMS
Buyers Premium of 20% applies to this Auction. A bidding charge of 4.95% applies to internet bids received via the-saleroom.com, or 3% via the KeysLive platform. Charges are subject to VAT, unless the lots are Books (marked “NO VAT” in the catalogue).
VIEWING
Viewing is limited at present to virtual viewing, which is available by appointment prior to sale day via video call (facetime, whatsapp, or zoom). Please contact us by email salerooms@keysauctions.co.uk if you would like to make a viewing appointment.
Condition Reports
Please ensure that requests for Condition Reports are received as soon as possible, and in any case at least 48 hours in advance of the auction.
PAYMENT
Payment is due strictly within seven days of the auction.
Remedies for non-payment are set out in our conditions of sale, please note that for any account remaining unpaid seven days after the auction the Auctioneers reserve the right to take payment from registered Card Details, and to add administrative charges and interest as set out in the full conditions of sale.
COLLECTION
We operate a “Click and Collect” service for buyers who wish to collect in person, strictly by advance appointment only (details will be provided to successful bidders upon receipt of full payment). Please note no collection in person unless a prior appointment has been made.
DELIVERY & PACKING/POSTAGE
Keys operates it’s own competitively priced internal packing and postage service for most items purchased within the UK, please see our postage and packing page on our website for details. Packing must be requested after purchase and paid via our website, and should be requested AFTER settlement of buyers’ auction purchase invoices. Please note we cannot currently provide quotations other than our fixed-price services prior to purchase.
Alternatively, we can recommend Mailboxes or Jentel for no-contact delivery throughout the UK and internationally.
Condition Report Service:
Keys Fine Art Auctioneers take great care to ensure that any statements as to attribution, age, date, origin, provenance and condition are reliable and accurate but it should be noted that all such statements are skilled opinions, if provenance (written or historical fact) cannot be produced. However, Keys Fine Art Auctioneers do not guarantee that condition reports, whether included in the catalogue, or given at a later time; cover all aspects of an item(s) condition. No guarantee or warranty is issued or given in anyway, either written or verbal.
