TIMED BIDDING

This is a Timed Auction, ending from 1600 hrs BST (4pm) on FRIDAY 10TH JULY

Please note that the timed auction format works on a countdown principle, with bidding continuing until the countdown reaches zero. To avoid "sniping" (last minute bids) the time of each lot will extend if bids are left in the last few seconds, to enable under-bidders to rebid; thus emulating the bidding in the saleroom whereby the auctioneer would ask the underbidder if they wished to bid again.

VIEWING

Viewing is limited at present to virtual viewing, which is available by appointment prior to sale day via video call (facetime, whatsapp, or zoom). Please contact us by email salerooms@keysauctions.co.uk if you would like to make a viewing appointment.

Condition reports are available on request – please email your requirements. These should be sent at least two working days prior to the end of the auction to ensure a reply.

PAYMENT

Payment is due strictly within 48 HOURS of the auction, and can be made via online card payment (link will be supplied with invoice) or by BACS transfer.

Remedies for non-payment are set out in our conditions of sale, please note that for any account remaining unpaid seven days after the auction the Auctioneers reserve the right to take payment from registered Card Details, and to add administrative charges and interest as set out in the full conditions of sale.

DELIVERY & PACKING/POSTAGE

Keys operates it’s own competitively priced internal packing and postage service for most items purchased within the UK. Packing must be requested after purchase and paid via our website, and should be requested AFTER settlement of buyers’ auction purchase invoices.

Alternatively, we can recommend Mailboxes or Jentel for no-contact delivery throughout the UK and internationally.

For larger lots, we now offer a local no-contact delivery service, with fixed-price “per lot” delivery by our couriers within a twenty mile radius, currently charged at £20 per lot. Our delivery contractors are happy to quote for delivery further afield.

Please note we cannot currently provide quotations other than our fixed-price services prior to purchase.

COLLECTION

COLLECTION BY APPOINTMENT STRICTLY WITHIN 14 DAYS OF SALE (PLEASE NOTE NO DELIVERIES MAY BE BOOKED UNTIL MONDAY 13TH JULY) - we operate a “Click and Collect” service for buyers who wish to collect in person, strictly by advance appointment only (details will be provided to successful bidders upon receipt of full payment). Please note no collection in person unless a prior appointment has been made. Any lots remaining uncollected by 4pm on 24th July will be moved to storage and subject to handling and storage charges.
