Bidding
This auction is a live sale.. All bidding will take place either in person, online (via the-saleroom.com or keysauctions.co.uk), or by telephone or absentee bid.

Viewing
Please see the online listing for details of viewing dates. 

Condition Reports
Although we try to note defects and condition of lots within the description, we recommend our full condition report service prior to sale. Please ensure requests for condition reports and/or additional photographs are submitted two working days prior to the sale, as due to the large quantity of requests we receive we cannot guarantee they will be completed after this time.

Buyers Premium
All lots in this sale will attract a Buyer`s Premium of 20% plus VAT at the standard rate.

Online Bidding Charges
Lots purchased via online bidding services will attract an online bidding charge of 4% plus VAT. 

Payment & Collection
Payment may be made online by card, either via the link which will be emailed to successful buyers after the sale, or through the payments page on our website. We also accept direct bank transfers (account details provided on invoice). Please note that we are not currently accepting payment by cash or cheque.

Payment for this sale is due strictly within 48 hours of the end of the auction, any outstanding invoices after that time may be subject to administrative charges and interest in accordance with our current terms. Any lots remaining uncollected (or without sufficient postage instructions) after seven days will attract storage and handling charges.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We reserve the right to take payment or part-payment from any buyer's registered credit/debit card for any invoices which remain outstanding after seven days.

Collection and Delivery
Collection in person is available 10am-2pm on Monday following the auction, after that time strictly by prior appointment only – all lots to be cleared STRICTLY WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF SALE - UNCOLLECTED LOTS WILL ATTRACT HANDLING/STORAGE CHARGES.

Postage and Packing

Keys operates an in-house service for packing and posting small auction purchases, using Parcelforce, at a fixed price. UK parcels are charged at £25 plus VAT, and EU parcels are charged at £35 Plus VAT (for parcels weighing up to 2Kg). For Small Auction purchases weighing over 2Kg but under 25kg are charged at £40 plus VAT for UK and £50 plus VAT for EU. For larger or over weight item please contact leon.gladwell@keysauctions.co.uk for a more personalised quote.  Additional insurance cover may be provided at a small extra cost. There are a small number of “prohibited” items which we cannot post, and some oversized or bulky lots may require a small extra packing charge.

We would like to remind all our customers that whilst we make every effort to pack suitably, we can in no way take responsibility for the safe arrival of goods and take no liability for damage in transit.

Please note that all lots should be either collected or delivery/postage instructed within seven days of the auction. Any lots which are not collected or instructed for delivery/postage by that time will be removed to storage and storage charges will accrue in accordance with our terms and conditions of sale.

Clocks, Watches & Mechanical Items
Please note that all clocks, watches and mechanical items are sold on behalf of vendors by Keys strictly on an “as found” basis. No guarantee or warranty is issued or given in anyway, either written or verbal and therefore refunds will not be issued on the basis of any item not being “in working order”, “incomplete”, or “not in original condition”.

Descriptions
Please see our full conditions of sale for details of limitations on catalogue descriptions; whilst these are always given in good faith, it is the buyer’s responsibility to satisfy themselves as to suitability of a particular lot prior to purchase.

For the avoidance of doubt, Keys auctions are exempt from the sale of goods distance selling regulations.
