Important Information

** PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS **

Due to the quick turnaround required for our weekly auctions, we have strict rules in place for payment and collection of lots.

Bidding: This is a live auction, bidding takes place either in the saleroom or via keysauctions.co.uk or the-saleroom.com. Bidders are welcome to leave commission, or absentee, bids either online via our website, by email (please ask for acknowledgement of receipt) or in person. All bidders must register and be allocated a bidding number prior to the start of the auction.

Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 20% (plus VAT at the standard rate) will be added to all lots.

Payment: Payment for all lots is due immediately after the sale, and may be accepted either online by Card (via the link provided with your invoice, up to a maximum of £2000 – any amount over this should be paid by direct Bank Transfer) or in person at our offices by Card or Cash.

Outstanding invoices will be sent to successful purchasers by email at the end of sale day, and any  outstanding after 48 hours will have an administrative charge of £5 added. The Auctioneers reserve the right to take payment from the registered card of online bidders if invoices remain unpaid after that time, in which case an additional administrative charge will be made in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Any invoices exceeding £2000 should be paid via direct bank transfer (details provided with invoice).

Collection: Lots should be collected as soon as possible after purchase, and in any case by the end of the day after the Auction. We operate a postage service for selected small items, and can provide secure storage for a small fee for items where the purchaser is unable to collect within terms (please ask for details). Any lots which remain uncollected or without instruction at the end of the week of sale will be deemed to have been abandoned and will be resold, donated to charity, or disposed of.

Descriptions & Images: All descriptions provided, and photos where supplied, are intended STRICTLY FOR LOT IDENTIFICATION PURPOSES ONLY, and all buyers will be assumed to have viewed lots or made suitable enquiries prior to bidding. We are happy to provide further details or condition reports on any lot on request (please ensure that these are received prior to the start of the auction). For the avoidance of doubt, all lots are sold strictly AS SEEN AND FOUND and no refund requests will be entertained.
